A Bilingual Wedding MC Who Keeps Both Families In The Room
Lina Ánh Liên hosts your reception in English and Vietnamese at the same time, so your grandparents, your college friends and your in-laws all laugh, cry and clap at the same moment. Orange County and beyond.
How Lina Runs A Reception

Lời cảm ơn & Nâng lyThe couple’s thank-you, the parents’ words and the toasts, translated live so nothing is lost.
Table Greetings
Chào bànLina keeps the room engaged while the couple visits each table, and keeps the kitchen on schedule.
First Dance & Cake Cutting
Khiêu vũ & Cắt bánhBuilt up and announced so the whole room turns to watch, with a live song from Lina if you want one.
Bouquet Toss, Games & Dancing
Quăng bông, trò chơi & Dạ vũParty games that work across generations, then Lina hands the night to the dance floor.
Why Bilingual Matters
One Voice. Two Languages.
Most receptions with a Vietnamese family end up with half the room waiting for a translation, or two MCs taking turns. Lina does both languages herself, in the same breath, so the night never stalls.
- English and Vietnamese announcements back to back, not one after a long pause
- Family names and titles said correctly (ông bà, cô chú, anh chị)
- Traditions explained briefly in English for guests who are new to them
- Works with your DJ, band, planner and photographer on one timeline
- Wedding songs on request, in English, Vietnamese or Spanish

Questions Couples Ask
Can you handle a long list of family introductions?
Yes. Send the names, relationships and the order you want, and Lina confirms pronunciations with you before the day. Both sides of the family are introduced in both languages.
How much Vietnamese versus English?
Whatever your room needs. Some couples want a 50/50 split, some want Vietnamese only for the family moments. You decide during planning and Lina adjusts live if the room changes.
Do you work with our DJ or band?
Yes. Lina has hosted with many bands and DJs. She shares one timeline with them, cues every moment, and keeps the music, kitchen and photographer in sync.
Can you also host the tea ceremony or a Hispanic–Vietnamese reception?
Lina has hosted full evenings for mixed families, including a Hispanic and Vietnamese reception you can watch on her channel. Tell her what traditions you are including and she will build the program around them.
Do you sing at weddings?
Yes, on request. A first-dance song, a song for the parents, or a number to open the dance floor, in English, Vietnamese or Spanish.
Where do you travel?
Based in Orange County and hosting all over Southern California. Lina has also hosted shows in Texas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nevada and Montréal, so ask about your city.
How do we book?
Text or call 714-878-1530 with your date, venue and guest count, or send the booking form. Lina replies with her availability and next steps.
